JGIメンバーシップキャンペーンのお礼とご報告 Membership Campaign Report
いつもJane Goodall Institute Japanを応援してくださり、心より感謝申し上げます。
このたびのメンバーシップキャンペーンでは、新たに15名の仲間が加わり、合計で年会員様が26名となりました！ 皆さまのご支援が、環境保全活動や未来を担う子どもたちへの教育につながり、希望の輪が広がっていることをとても嬉しく思います。
また、皆さまからの会費やご寄付は、ユース主導の環境的・人道的プログラムRoots & Shootsの活動へとされています。今年度は、その一環として昨年に続き2回目となる「Roots & Shootsユースカンファレンス」を開催し、日本各地の若者が集まり、自らのプロジェクトを発表し、仲間と学び合う貴重な機会を創出しました。詳細については、また別途ニュースレターでご報告させていただきます！
今回の返礼品は、春木屋 コーヒーロースタリーさんからの多大なるサポートのもと実現しました。ゴンベの森の多様性を表現するために、7段階の焙煎度合いで焙煎を行い、様々な風味が複雑に絡み合うコーヒーをご用意いただきました。コーヒー栽培による収益の一部がゴンベの森のチンパンジー保護など、地域の環境保護活動に使われています。コーヒーを味わうひとときを通して、自然保護にも貢献できてハッピー。

Thank you as always for your warm support of the Jane Goodall Institute Japan.
We are delighted to share that, through our recent membership campaign, we welcomed 15 new members—bringing the total number of annual members to 26! Your generous support directly contributes to environmental conservation efforts and educational programs for the next generation, expanding a circle of hope and action.
Membership fees and donations are directed to programs such as Roots & Shoots, a youth-led initiative focused on environmental and humanitarian issues. As part of this program, we held the second Roots & Shoots Youth Conference this year, following the success of last year’s event. Young people from across Japan gathered to present their projects and learn from one another in a truly inspiring exchange. We look forward to sharing more details in an upcoming newsletter!
This year’s thank-you gift was made possible through the generous support of Harukiya Coffee Roastery. In celebration of the rich biodiversity of the Forest of Gombe, they created a special coffee blend roasted at seven different levels, resulting in a complex, multi-layered flavor profile. A portion of the proceeds from the coffee cultivation supports local conservation initiatives of the Forest of Gombe. It’s a joyful way to contribute to nature conservation—one cup at a time.
