Youth Conferenceにオンラインで参加してくれたグループ「First Step」のご紹介✨👣🐾
山口県下関市郊外の地域から始まったばかりのRoots & Shoots🌱どんなことに興味があり、今後取り組んでいきたいかなどをシェアしてくれました🌏
7歳から9歳の子どもたちを中心に、「地域のサポーターたちとともに、地域のことをもっといっぱい知り、いろんな活動に取り組んでいきたいと考えています。たくさんのことに興味があって、たくさんやりたいことがあるグループ」とお話ししてくれました🥳
イベントで自己紹介をしてくれた9歳の3人のメンバーは、保護猫活動やゴミ拾いに取り組んでみたいとのこと。猫のコハクとミツキも大事なメンバーです🐈🐈⬛
また、7歳と9歳の姉弟は、盲導犬候補の子犬オパールちゃんを家族の一員として迎えるパピーウォーカーを行っております。そんな中、オパールちゃんが散歩中にタバコの吸い殻を食べてしまい、危うくニコチン中毒に。以来、家族で積極的にゴミ拾いに取り組んでいます。他にも保護犬活動にも取り組んでみたいとのことです！
今後の活躍が楽しみです！🙌

Introducing “First Step”, a group that joined us online at the Youth Conference✨🐾👣
Roots & Shoots just started in a community on the outskirts of Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture 🌱They shared what they are interested in and what they would like to work on in the future🌏.
They are now exploring their community and getting engaged with various activities with local supporters.
The main members are between the ages of 7 to 9. They are a group with lots of interests and lots of things they want to do.
The three 9 y/o members, who introduced themselves at the event, would like to work on cat protections and trash pickup. Their family cats, Kohaku and Mitsuki, are also the important members of the group🐈🐈⬛
Also, 7 and 9 y/o siblings are puppy walkers who welcome Opal, a guide dog candidate puppy, as a member of their family. During a walk, Opal accidentally ate a cigarette trash and nearly became nicotine poisoning. Since then, their family has been actively engaged in picking up trash. They are also interested in working on dog protection activities!🐕🦺🐕🐾
